Light Construction

Assembler

Savannah, GA

Understands and utilizes blueprints and shop packet instructions; interprets when required
Constructs the assemblies and subassemblies of product line and assists in specialized production
Uses chain hoist, hand tools: air, electrical and manual, bench tools: grinder, drill press, etc., and measuring instruments to assemble
machines.
Builds component parts, stacking and training gin saws, building saw and brush cylinders
Operates dynamic balancing machine on variety of products
Checks torques and clearances during assembly process
Inspects each part to verify quality and operability at completion
Confers with others to resolve assembly problems.
Reports labor accurately each day
Assists less experienced assembly personnel
Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment

Full-time 16 – $19 an hour

• Repair  wooden pallets

Use crow bar, hammer, pneumatic nail gun, as well as other hand tools to perform tasks

  • Demonstrate hand-eye coordination

Use of measuring tools to complete task assigned

  • Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.
  • Completes work area set up.
  • Ability to pay attention to surroundings
  • Demonstrate ability to stack material properly
  • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Operates hand tools as required to complete assembly process.
  • Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band
  •   components/finished product.
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
  • Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to stack material properly
  • Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards.

Full-time $18 an hour

Forklift Driver

Pooler, GA

Unload pallets from trucks using industrial forklifts and other material handling equipment

Be able to lift heavy objects, stoop, kneel, and sit for long periods of time

Have good eyesight and hearing

Grade and sort unloaded pallets to company specifications

Maintain inventory by replenishing works stations with TBRs, boards and other needed materials

Track inventory and log information about shipments, accurately •Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other related duties as needed.

Prepare outgoing products for shipment by identifying, pulling and loading according to customer order

Full-time $18 an hour
